James and James had known each other for a while, but got reconnected through voluntarily providing lawn services for foster families. Through their time volunteering, they started talking about what it would be like to start their own lawn care business. In January of 2022, five months later, James & James Lawn Care, LLC. was born.
Since the business was started through volunteering their services, they made giving back a priority. The very first month of business, they arranged to offer free lawn services to six foster families in their area. As the business grows, they hope to make an even bigger impact in their city. When you hire James & James Lawn Care, you aren't just hiring another lawn care business.

My name Is James Schaefer. I have a passion for lawn care and landscaping, and am looking forward to serving all of your lawn care needs. In addition to my years of experience with lawn care and landscaping, I also have a background in classical music, and lead worship at my local church. My philosophy is not just to work in the community, but be a part of it. Communicating, providing quality work, being on time, and also giving back are things James & James strive for every day. Looking forward to meeting each and every one of you!
Hello! My name is James Inglis. I've worked many different jobs over the years (construction, moving, warehouse, etc.) and graduated with a B.S. in Management degree from California Coast University. Most recently, I've had the honor of serving on staff at my church and working for a local anti-trafficking organization here in San Antonio. In August of 2021, I decided I wanted to voluntarily cut grass for foster families in my city. That's where it all began!
